In 2020, Lulu Lytle of Soane Britain invited me to analyse an antique Egyptian tent panel. This conversation led to an exciting collaboration, resulting in a unique geometric design being developed exclusively for Soane. The pattern, titled Rumi , is now available as part of Soane’s ‘Egyptomania’ collection. Marking Soane Britain’s 25th anniversary, the new ‘Egyptomania’ collection draws on the richness of one of the world’s most ancient cultures. Spanning fabrics, furniture and lighting, the collection takes influences from thousands of years of Egyptian history.

In this image, the fabric Rumi in the colour Lapis, is used to upholster a rattan sun lounger.
