British Museum, 2018.: Great Russell St, London WC1B 3DG

20 - 21 October 2018

In 2018, to celebrate the opening of the new Islamic Art wing, the British Museum and Princes Foundation School of Traditional Arts, asked Yasmin to host a collaborative exhibition.

The event ran across the opening weekend. Yasmin invited members of the public to collaborate on a large geometric installation which referenced Persian Kashan tiles. The installation was displayed in the main gallery of the British Musuem.

As Yasmin assembled the artwork, whirling dervish Tomo Grotto performed in front of the space, resulting in a beautiful collaboration between the two creatives.
